Chez John is a lovely family gîte with three bedrooms and two shower rooms, sleeping up to six in comfort.  It was recently converted from a 17th century stone built barn and retains much of its original character.

Chez John nestles in the rural, tranquil hamlet of La Tremoulie, just outside the traditional village of Champniers et Reilhac, surrounded by the beautiful 'Perigord Vert' region of the Dordogne, characterised by its forests of nut and pine trees, lakes and wildlife, famous markets, Vineyards and historic sites.

The gîte is comfortably furnished and fully equipped for six people. There is a large fenced garden and a 10 by 5 metre fully enclosed private swimming pool.

The gîte is about 7 hours driving time (plus stops) from Calais and about 5 hours from St Malo. Limoges and Angouleme airports are an easy 40 - 50 minutes drive respectively from La Tremoulie.

The TGV runs a frequent and fast service to the area from Paris. To Limoges there are ten trains per day and the journey time is three hours. To Angouleme, the high speed TGV also runs ten times daily and takes just over two hours.

If you arrive by air or rail a hire car is essential.
